What is Cystic Acne?
They are basically the worst ones you can get and it is one of the severe ones as well. They're pretty much like the red bumpy, painful, deep acne that you can find on your skin. You can also get antibiotics which actually not only decrease the inflammation but it kills a bacteria as well. There's also accutane which is something that you take for periods of time,usually a couple of months. That is more of a programs that helps to basically dry out your skin. It's something that is not advised to be taken if you have other health issues but it is something that people tend to go for especially if they have really really severe acne. You can also get prescription strength like lotions and creams to play on the skin which does the something. You can also use retinol which is form of vitamin A that helps too. Bascically you know intensify the exfoliation process and gets basically unclothed pause so then the antibiotics can work better and attack the bacteria and help to get rid of inflammation. 1. Try Not to Wash Your Face too Often.
So maximum is twice a day, morning and night. Actually doing to, it is you're abrupting it and disturbing it. So, basically you're making a bit more raw, tender and you're actually causing more damage by washing it too often.
2. Avoid Touching Your Face Too Much
The worst thing you can do is touch because your hands or things that you touch or your surrounding is full of bacteria. All you do is providing more bacteria to these areas. So, think of those cystic acne as wound and you don't want to have more infection on it.
3. Avoid Using Heavy Makeup or Cosmetics
When you have cystic acne, you just want to cover that up because it's going to affect your mood and you know the way you feel about youself, your confidence and all that stuff and all you want to do is just behind it and a mask over it with a lot of makeup but you're actually doing is causing your pores to be more blocked. It's basically feeding the block pores and cystic acne. So up for mineral makeup or maybe water based foundations, something lightweightthat you're still allowing your skin to breathe but it gives you a bit of coverage. Obviously avoid anything with oils in it,if we possible wear no makeup,so give yourself at least one or two days a week where you just make up free and just allow your skin to really breathe.
